1. What sparked your idea to create Madeeco?
Madeeco began in 2018 with a simple intention: to slow down and live more sustainably. What started as a small collection of thoughtful, eco-friendly products soon evolved as our creative director, a long-time flower lover, began pressing and preserving flowers to pause and find calm alongside a busy career in healthcare. Then came a turning point: a bride asked if we could preserve her wedding bouquet. We said yes, shared the finished piece on Instagram, and the response was overwhelming. Suddenly, requests poured in from couples wanting to preserve their flowers. At the time, bouquet preservation was relatively new in the UK wedding space. Many couples didn’t realise this was even a possibility, and it opened up a new meaningful way of remembering their special day.
