SENTIMENTAL SEASONAL AND WEDDING

bouquet preservation

Flowers tell the stories of our lives. They mark our happiest moments, the occasions we hold close, and the times love has been expressed in its purest form. For those bouquets that feel too meaningful to let go, our bouquet preservation service offers a way to keep them close, reimagined as art to be cherished for years to come.

Each commission is tailored and handcrafted, with your flowers carefully arranged in a style that reflects your taste and story. Creating a one-of-a-kind artwork from your bouquet is a process that requires patience, care, and artistry - and this is at the heart of what we do at Madeeco. From first enquiry to final delivery, we are committed to delivering a personal service designed to honour both your flowers and your memories.

Frequently Asked Questions

After your wedding day, we recommend sending your bouquet to us as soon as possible, using a tracked next-day delivery service so your flowers arrive safely. If your wedding takes place over a weekend, posting your bouquet on Monday morning for Tuesday delivery by 9am usually works best. We tend to suggest Royal Mail, as it’s a reliable option for this journey. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll share a gentle, step-by-step guide to help you prepare and send your flowers with care and we are always here if you need any reassurance along the way.

Not all blooms preserve well, though variety generally lends itself to beautiful results. Please note that colours naturally deepen or change during preservation. From your bouquet we will carefully select the most suitable flowers to create an artwork that is harmonious and visually striking. For white bouquets, we suggest including a mix of textures and foliage.

Our focus is not on recreating the original bouquet, but on capturing its essence. Each piece is an interpretation - an artistic preservation inspired by the flowers themselves and the story they carry.

Preservation is a detailed and layered process. With every petal treated with patience and precision, the creation of your artwork takes between 16-24 weeks.

As with anything organic, pressed flowers continue to evolve over time. Pigmented blooms may soften into quieter, more muted tones, while whites and pale florals gradually develop a warm, time-worn patina, from soft ivory to honeyed or antique hues. No two flowers age in the same way, just as no two stories are ever identical. We work without dyes, paints, or artificial colour treatments. Instead, we preserve each bloom as it is, honouring its natural character and the moment it represents. This allows your artwork to age gently and honestly, a living reminder of something once held in your hands.
